Britannia Row Productions offers an exceptional in-house apprenticeship programme that fast-tracks you into a career as a Live Audio Technician with one of the world’s leading live sound companies. More than a job, this is a comprehensive professional training experience combining structured education, hands-on learning, and mentorship from industry experts at the forefront of live sound.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to advance your live sound career, this two-year apprenticeship immerses you in real-world, high-end production environments, guided by professionals who have delivered audio for major tours, festivals and international events.

Upon successful completion, you’ll be ready to deliver high-end audio for global music tours, major sporting fixtures and corporate events. What Training You’ll Receive

The Britannia Row Apprenticeship offers a uniquely structured and intensive two-year training programme combining formal study with immersive workplace learning to ensure your development is both theoretical and highly practical.

  • 15% Structured Training: Delivered through a blend of online and classroom sessions, covering Live Sound Fundamentals (LSF) and Live Sound Intermediate (LSI). These courses combine theory with practical application to build a strong technical foundation, taught by our own expert tutors.
  • 85% Practical Work in Our Warehouse: Day-to-day, you’ll learn on the job, applying new skills under the guidance of professional engineers and technicians.
  • Event and Tour Experience: As your competence grows, you may earn opportunities to join live event and touring crews, applying your training to real-world projects.
  • Personal Development: You will receive ongoing feedback, mentoring, and skills assessments to track progress and support your professional growth.

This is not a government scheme, but a professionally curated training programme created and delivered by leading industry experts to develop world-class audio professionals. The course is demanding, with a fast pace, self-directed learning, and ongoing exposure to both local and international projects within the Clair Global network.

Professional Behavioural Expectations

Throughout the programme, you’ll develop professional skills and behaviours that are highly valued across the live events sector:

  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues.

  • Receive intensive, hands-on training that builds both competence and confidence.
  • Unlock career pathways that could lead to technical and operational roles across Britannia Row, Clair Global, and beyond.
